Macro Revero

Some time back I had the honor of documenting the factory where the Karma Revero is made. The photos I was taking would find their way into a book on the car company Karma. My objective was to capture the interesting details of the process through macro photography.

I captured thousands of images that day. Combing through the edited images, these are just a few that caught my attention.

It’s interesting, when you take the time to really look at something up close, often a simple object can be found to hold so much detail.

Textures become far more complex.

There’s an underlying uniqueness to all things in this world.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to document this place in such a way.

The amount of detailed work that goes into the making of a car is staggering.

In particular I’m rather a fan of the color coded wiring that went into the Revero.

While I’m not sure why this seat was being laser scanned I love the Cylon feelings it emanated.

The automotive world has arrived at an interesting intersection. Where it all goes from here? Only time will tell.
