Porsche 911 GT3RS

Jeremy Sweeney is an expert driver and one who knows NCM Motorsports Park well. On a crisp fall day in Bowling Green Kentucky I trained my lens on his grey GT3RS.

The Porsche 911 in all variants is a popular track day platform. Even with NCM (National Corvette Museum) literally being home turf for the Chevrolet Corvette the Porsche outnumbered them at this track day.

The 911’s rear engine platform may be somewhat unconventional from the standpoint of a daily driver. But it’s a setup Porsche has been refining for years and when you see one of these cars performing out on track it’s a clear how well it works.

As track ready as the GT3RS is, it’s still a street car. The full on race car version is still next level in comparison, more on that soon.
